A romantic and intimate proposal at Newfields in Indianapolis
When Ian inquired about his proposal to Camryn and told me the location was at Newfields, I was so stoked! I knew from the beginning that this proposal was going to be one-of-a-kind and so special for Camryn who is an artist herself.
I picked up the ring from a friend of Ian's nearby and good thing I did, because she patted him down in the parking lot searching for a potential ring box in his pocket! She was onto him! The box in itself was a piece of art, not to mention the ring, uniquely crafted just for her, hidden beneath begonias and ivy, Camryn had no idea what was about to happen.
I placed myself behind some large fir trees before the entrance to the fountain, perfectly camouflaged as if I wasn't even there and waited for them to arrive.
Ian lead Camryn towards the fountain, paused, turned to her, and read her a a personal and intimate note he prepared beforehand. He grabbed the ring box from beneath the ivy and got down on one knee, opened the box, and asked Camryn if she would like to spend forever with him. She could barely contain her excitement, she jumped up and down and responded, "yes, yes, YES!" Happy tears flowing from everyone involved, it was such a thoughtful and well planned proposal that left Camryn in total surprise.
